Bound and Unbroken (Out of Bounds #1) - Skye Callahan

Lena is about to discover pleasure in the things she can’t control.

To get even with her roommate for dragging her to a sports bar on a Friday night, Lena begins flirting with the handsome stranger who sits at the bar next to her. Their anonymous conversation leads to a shared cab ride, but Lena’s conscience puts a damper on the evening—leaving the near-fling to become a memory. Until she finds him roaming the halls of the school where she teaches.

Will she submit to his desires?

Eric’s only reason for returning to his hometown is to care for his recently orphaned nephew. He knew the return would involve dredging up his past with family and friends, but he didn't expect a lone girl to capture his interest and offer an escape within his new life.

Will his binds be enough to keep her?

I was asked to review this from Netgalley. When it 1st started off I was like yay we're going to go somewhere with these characters and the sex in the storyline will be interesting as a Dom and Sub situation. As it got further into the story I was like where is this going as I was kinda getting bored with the 2 main characters. Don't get me wrong, it kept me hooked through the whole story, just took me longer than usual to read this kind of book. I did feel sorry for Lena with her past coming to haunt her with the way she wanted to try stuff. Eric I felt sorry for at times with the way he was patient with Lena on some stance, but in others she needed to be pushed.

Can't wait to see what Skye's next installment of this story will lead with Eric and Lena and the Bound Club.

The Fetish Queen, Part Three: Cursed (The Fetish Queen #3) by Nicole Camden

In the final chapter in the daring, sexy Fetish Queen series, Lille finds the place she belongs for the first time in her life, but she can’t escape the fear that her dark past will ruin everything…

Unnerved by the sheer force of her desire for Max, Lille retreats into managing the Fetish Box, making sure that it’s a success. The online documentary she stars in becomes more and more popular, bringing business to the store and danger to Lille. When she’s nearly killed at Jobman’s pub, Lille begins to believe that she might truly be cursed, bringing danger to all she loves.

Does she run away again, giving up her new life in order to stay safe, or does she take a chance, possibly endangering them all? She doesn’t want to leave. She’s learning what it means to be a Fetish Queen, and it is love, not fear, that gives her strength. But what Max and her friends don’t realize is that Lille is willing to do anything…anything…to save them all.

I was asked to review from Netgalley. Well what can I say about the final part of this trilogy, the characters were kinda rushed with the ending. I could of screamed at Lille and Max about how much they were so alike and in love with each other, that you could see where you wanted the characters to head, but they were like nope we are gonna hate each other lol. I still feel that the story was left open to more happening with the other characters. I still want to know what happened to Lille's dad as well.

Can't wait to read more by this author and see what else she has in store for her readers.

The Fetish Queen, Part Two: Infamous (The Fetish Queen #2) by Nicole Camden

In this scintillating second part of the Fetish Queen series, Lille and Max go wild for each other as conflicts arise and dark secrets of Lille’s past are revealed.

Lillehammer Marceau has a secret past—one that has haunted her, one that not even her best friend, Mary, knows about, one that includes a Russian gangster for a father. It’s left her with commitment issues and a fear of trusting anyone too much.

Lille has always been dominant and daring, hiding her fear behind a mask of confidence and bravado, even when the web series she creates about life in the Fetish Box becomes an Internet sensation and she gains more attention than she ever wanted. She believes she can keep her façade intact and still enjoy the pleasures of being with Max, but some men, it seems, won’t be controlled for long…

I was asked to review this for Netgalley. Well it carried on from where book 1 left off. Max and Lille are avoiding each other after sleeping together in the previous book. What is Lille hiding from Max and everyone else around her. She makes the Fetish Box shop an Internet sensation by putting herself out there with Kim behind the camera. She confides in a couple of people in the book, but who will say what is happening to her. All will be revealed in the final part of The Fetish Queen.

HOUSE OF STONE ( sequel to Bishop Street) by Rene D. Schultz

“The test of life is not meant to break you, but to make you stronger...”

Four powerful childhood friendships become twisted with lies and deceit after they leave Bishop Street Orphanage. Twenty years later, the four orphans are back together, once again. Maggie is a best-selling author that lives in Los Angeles. Elizabeth, is a farmer’s wife with five children, and they live in North Bend, North Dakota. Randolph the billionaire, is a wandering nomad who has never put down roots. Lucy is finally clean and sober, and raising her daughter, after twenty years of living on the streets.

Challenging themselves to let go of the past, and still fused together by the immeasurable power of friendship, they will never let anything get in their way, again. Not the tests of courage and willingness to change; not the devastating flood that hits North Bend, threatening to destroy the town; and not the love and happiness they find, unexpectedly. Suddenly, their lives will all change forever, when Maggie is visiting an orphanage in Honduras and the big earthquake hits. Thousands of lives are lost, Maggie is missing, and their worst fears will test their strength of survival, once again!

OMG, where do I start with this sequel. I was given a copy of this via the lovely Rene Schultz for a review. Rene has made me cry so many times with her books and this one hasn't disappointed me in that state neither. This brings in ALL the previous lovely characters Maggie, Elizabeth, Randolph, Lucy and the rest. This carries on from when they are all reunited and life is a bouquet of flowers.

Well, there are so many things going on with this story, I don't know where to begin. Maggie and Damon are living the wonderful couple life, Elizabeth is still living in North Bend, North Dakota and they have some worries there as well. Lucy is doing well for herself in the new book and hopefully will meet the love of her life. Randolph is the same as he always is and spreads himself and his wealthy around a bit more in this book. I don't want to give the book away, but if you have read Bishop Street, YOU HAVE TO READ House Of Stone. It'll bring you to tears and joy in places and let you see into the world of Rene Schultz's mind.

The 100 Society by Carla Spradbery

For sixth-form student Grace Becker, The 100 Society is more than just a game; it's an obsession. Having convinced her five friends at Clifton Academy to see it through to the end, Grace will stop at nothing to carry out the rules of the game: tagging 100 locations around the city. With each step closer to the 100-mark they get, the higher the stakes become. But when the group catches the attention of a menacing stalker - the Reaper - he seems intent on exposing their illegal game, tormenting Grace with anonymous threats and branding their dormitory doors with his ominous tag.

As the once tight-knit group slowly unravels, torn apart by doubt and the death of a student, they no longer know who to trust.

With time running out, Grace must unmask the Reaper before he destroys everything she cares about for ever...

I was asked to review this for Netgalley. It started off ok and meant to be like Point Horror that I used to read when I was a teenager. Now to me I wasn't getting the jist of the story and wasn't grabbing me like I had hoped. The characters was like boring and not really into the story. Sorry for anyone who did like it, but to me I just couldn't get into it.

The Fetish Queen, Part One: Reborn (The Fetish Queen #1) by Nicole Camden

Newly single and loving every minute, Lille—a.k.a. the Fetish Queen—is unleashed and ready to dominate in the first chapter of the sexy, enticing Fetish Queen series.

Blond, buxom, and bold, pin-up girl Lillehammer Marceaux can get any man she wants, but she leaves her fiancé to move to Florida and run a sex shop called The Fetish Box, owned by her best friend. She immediately clashes with Max Jobman, the rough-hewn tattooed Irishman who owns the local pub. Not a very trusting man, Max is convinced she’s a spoiled beauty who’ll stay just long enough to find a rich husband. He quickly learns that Lille isn’t interested in a husband; she’s focused on making the business a success—but that doesn’t stop her from thinking about what an excellent lover Max will make…

What neither Max nor Lille realizes is that her efforts to become the Fetish Queen, which include making a type of reality show, have caught the attention of a dangerous figure from Lille’s past. Will her troubled past come back and drag her down, or will the Fetish Queen get her way?

I was asked to review this from Netgalley. I loved the way the book 1st starts out with the main character going back in time from when she was a little girl. Not knowing too much about her past at the moment, keeps the reader guessing all the time. The sex in the book is ok, but wanting to know more of the background of the other characters. How she met Mary her best friend, what secrets is Max hiding and what is the Fetish Queen up to.

All will be revealed in the next part of The Fetish Queen.
