I was about to put this book down loads of times as I just couldn’t seem to get my head round the storyline. But I was told to perserve and so I did. I then go to halfway and still thought “Hmmmmmmmmm, where is this leading?” and it took me a while to read it to there. I put the book down and read other books as I couldn’t shake the reading bug that wasn’t grabbing me with this particular book. Well anyway, I picked the book up this morning and off I went with the storyline. It grabbed me and made me gasp with OMG moments, made me think what the heck happened there, never saw that coming moments and also got me thinking that I’m sure these psychics are out there in force (Is Caroline Mitchell a psychic lol, no idea). But her book certainly makes you think of the other side of life and what is out there.

Would I get her second book and more = DEFINITELY. I want to carry on the story and see where DC Knight and her life with friends and family carry on.

I was allowed to read/listen to a copy of this fine novel. I've been meaning to read Marissa Farrar for a while now too.

Disliked 1 character due to the violence he afflicted on 1 of the main characters. I loved the way the author made the characters likeable and hated with vengeance. The vampires in this story made you think they would be after blood and who's blood you never know.

I will definitely be reading more from this series :D

I found this really funny at the end and with what happened with Rosencrantz, Coco, Adam, Regina and everyone. What does it mean to have a baby at 44 and have an older child for Coco? Where is Ethel getting her spare front door keys? Can Regina and Coco ever be friends. All will be revealed in the third book.

Why did Adam end his relationship with Coco so quickly, we all thought they were well suited? What is Adam hiding from Coco? Will the interfering ex Mother In Law still hang around her ex daughter in law and try and get her son Daniel and Coco back together? 

This was funny at parts again and you have something spooky going on in Coco's life. I found this book to be part 2 in a hilarious trilogy and can't wait to read more.

The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard (Coco Pinchard #1) by Robert Bryndza

Coco Pinchard was never a single thirty-something. She married young, had a son, and put her dream to be a writer on hold.

I was looking for something fun to read after finishing my last book. I can across another of Robert Bryndza's books which I found out was book 3 in the series, so I went to inspect what the other 2 was to find out that I had them already.

So the story line centres around emails from Coco Pinchard to her ex husband, her lover, her 2 best friends, her son and other people. It tells of her life from just before Christmas to September/October that year. The delights that go on and sometimes the laughter comes through at the antics of her soon to be ex mother in law, her ex sister in law and other things that happen throughout the life of Coco. She has some fun times with Chris and Marika. Her son gets into hot water and she HAS to bail him out of things.

I loved Coco so much and felt sorry for her that it blows your mind the life of an author has amongst living a normalish life. Can't wait to read the next 2 books in the series.

Sex, Lies and Chocolate Cakes: A Delicious Laugh Out Loud Comedy by Steven Morris

After accidentally exposing himself to his son’s girlfriend, and realising that because of his over-hanging stomach, she couldn’t actually see anything, Eric Baxter decides it’s time he went on a diet. Unfortunately, due to an exercise allergy, and an eating obsession, it isn’t going to be as easy as he first thought. 

Throw in a battle of wits with his neighbour’s cat over toilet rights to his garden, a son who lives in the shed and dreams of being discovered on The X Factor, a stroppy teenage daughter with a Wayne Rooney fixation, a wife who doesn’t want to sleep with him anymore, and an amorous work colleague who does, and you have all the ingredients to Sex, Lies and Chocolate Cakes: The Secret Eater’s Diary.

I found this on Amazon and felt like I needed a laugh as life was getting boring for me lol. Well I picked this little laughing book up and it reminded me of all the times I've tried to diet and failed lol.

I loved Eric's banter and the way his family take the mick, laughed at the next door neighbour's cat with his antics and the amorous work colleague, well what can I say she is a lush with a heart. If you want to laugh at people attempting to do diets with the family antics then this is your book.

Can't wait to read the next installment.

OMG, what happened there I can't comprehend the way Mr May weavered his magic in this lustrous novel. The characters you just love to hate with their flash of money, lifestyle and men (sex on tap). I kinda guessed who the killer was, but there was shocks, laughs and even gasps along the way with this highly addicted (pun intended) novel.

I can't wait to read more from Mr May as he really does write close to Ms Jackie Collins.
