Well what can I say about this book. Angela Marsons has left me breathless, shocked at who it was behind all this. Who else was involved and OMG have I slept the night before (had to hold hubby's hand in the night to make sure he was still with me and not dead). What has Tracy Frost the despicable reporter got to do with the Body Farm bodies and why is Kim softening towards certain people. All will be revealed when you read Play Dead.

Can't wait to read more from this author who is in leagues of Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson and those Thriller writers who've made CPID books a trend.

This had me laughing at parts due to the characters style and what happens next. It's Murder, Mayhem and Money twists and turns. With quick snappy chapters as usual, another great book.

I would like to thank the author for allowing me to read this last installment of the Raney & Levine series.

It's been a while since I read the series, so I thought I best get reading the final book as it looked so good from a recommendation as well. Raney & Levine are meant to be on holiday with their little man Jesse, but as usual they get a call from the police on a murder. What can Raney & Levine do that the police can't, they can find out things without a warrant. This is a really interesting read and had me gasping at parts and going oh no at others. I take my hat off to the author for this terrifying but adventurous series.

When I started reading this, I wasn't sure what to think as I kinda enjoyed the others in the series. But I'm not sure what I thought about it as I was reading it, I started thinking if I wanted to read it as I couldn't connect to the characters. Not sure if I was in the right frame of mind, but as I carried on with the story, it got better and I started warming to some characters. BUT not everyone was favourite in my opinion.

If you've not read the series, you need to start with Eeny Meeny and see what you think.

I've read a couple of Liz Borino's books in the past. This was different as it gave you an insight into the relationship between a civilian and an Army Captain. Homosexual is a taboo subject in the army/navy and Liz Borino writes about it in a way that explains things. What happens if you get caught in a situation where the serving officer is a homosexual. Yes, there is BDSM in the book, but nothing that would make you turn away and go "I can't read this as I can't see a storyline". But this story tells you what happens when a gay officer falls in love with a civilian and then gets told a month before he's discharged that he HAS to go back. What happens when you lose a limb and have to go home? What happens to your relationship? Can Mike save the US with the intelligence or will he lose his husband over the secrets he can't say.

I liked the storyline and the way it was told. I look forward to reading more by Liz Borino in the future.

When this was recommended to me for reading, I was like jumping at the bit to read it as I've liked reading Liane Moriarty book and Clare Mackintosh books in the past. Well I can honestly say this wasn't grabbing me till about 83% in the story. Could be due to the part that the characters I wasn't meshing with in the storyline. It was all confusing swapping between the 2 main female characters. I kept asking myself will it get any better. What are they to do with each other? Who are these other characters and what have they got to do with this story. 

It became apparent later as the story carried on who they were and what role they played. It was as it got to the ending that I was understanding the storyline. I look forward to seeing what the next book this author writes as she has a great understanding of the autism spectrum and other things going on in the world.
