Greg Klein is a man with a broken heart. His mother has passed away and left a letter with her solictor. What's in the letter leaves Greg not knowing who he is for the past 40 odd years? He flies to Inishbeg Cove to find the answers to questions that the letter threw up and he finds a gorgeous postmistress in the form of Sarah. Along the way, Sarah and Greg become firm friends as she tries to help him trace the family secret that no one on Inishbeg Cove knows. Sarah has her own issues when the post office of Inishbeg Cove is under attack, can she and the whole community save the Post Office or will they be doomed to lose another part of their community.
